Previously, Motionary offered a static displacement rate heatmap, updated periodically to reflect new data. This heatmap gave a visual interpretation of the average magnitude of displacement over a monitored area for a specified period, usually three months.  

While useful, this static feature needed further development to deliver comprehensive analysis over varying time frames. In response, 3vG created variable heatmaps—a cutting-edge tool offering unprecedented control and insight into ground displacement data. 

What are variable heatmaps? 

As Motionary’s latest feature, variable heatmaps reveal displacement rates across an entire site for any monitoring period of a user’s choice. This powerful InSAR analysis tool uncovers correlations, patterns, and anomalies that static heatmaps cannot. 

How this feature works 

Powered by robust cloud data storage, variable heatmaps can be regenerated on the fly, taking no longer than a few seconds.  

Any of the available heatmaps can be quickly updated for the selected time-period, including both absolute and decomposed directional displacement. 

Delivering a fast and responsive user experience, Motionary is able to rapidly recalculate data sets, outpacing similar platforms that are often hindered by slower response times and restrictive features.
